THE WAY WE WORK / PRIVACY
Privacy, with purpose.
Your information deserves the same care as the technology we build.
Privacy isn't the small print after the interesting stuff. It's part of doing the interesting stuff properly.
Thoughtful by design. Accountable in practice.
Curiosity drives us. Respect guides us.
At Rismor, curiosity is what drives us. We ask questions, explore possibilities and look for better ways to make technology work. But being curious about your business doesn't mean we need to know everything about you.
Whether you've come here with a question, a technical challenge or the beginnings of an idea, we believe you should know what happens to the information you share.
No unnecessary collection. No hidden agenda. Just a thoughtful, responsible approach to earning and keeping your trust.

02 / WHAT WE COLLECT
What we know about you
When you contact us, we may receive your name, business contact details and the information you choose to share. If we work together, we also keep the correspondence, contracts and billing records needed to deliver and administer our services.
Cloudflare, which delivers and helps protect this website, may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested pages and security events.
There's no enquiry form on this website. Contact takes place through your email application or by telephone. We measure broad website activity and actions such as visits to missing pages, clicks towards our services and requests to reveal contact information. This helps us understand which content is useful. A click is not treated as proof that an enquiry was sent.
03 / WHY WE USE IT
Why we use information
We use personal information for a few practical reasons:
- To answer you. Responding to enquiries and keeping in touch about work you've asked us to discuss, based on our legitimate interests in running our business.
- To work together. Preparing for and carrying out contracts and delivering agreed services.
- To keep things running. Protecting and maintaining our website and business systems, based on our legitimate interests in their security and operation.
- To meet legal requirements. Keeping relevant accounting and business records where the law requires it.
You don't have to contact us. But if you don't provide the details needed to answer an enquiry or deliver an agreed service, we may not be able to do so.
04 / WHO HELPS US
Who else sees your information?
We use Cloudflare to deliver and protect the website and Microsoft 365 for our business email. We may also share relevant information with providers who help us deliver an agreed service or meet our legal obligations.
We don't sell enquiry information. Some suppliers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, the relevant protections must be in place.
05 / THE WEBSITE
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising trackers or marketing analytics cookies on this website. Our first-party website measurement records aggregate page and navigation categories, plus selected missing website paths after filtering. It does not use tracking cookies or visitor identifiers, and does not record contact messages, email addresses, IP addresses or URL query strings in these event records. Cloudflare may use other technical measures needed to provide and secure the site.
If we introduce non-essential tracking, we'll explain it and obtain consent where required before using it.
06 / INTELLIGENT TOOLS, HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY
A thoughtful approach to AI
AI is part of how we explore ideas, investigate technical questions and discover possibilities that might otherwise be overlooked.
But useful intelligence shouldn't come at the expense of responsible information handling.
Simply visiting our website or contacting us doesn't mean your personal information is automatically submitted to an AI system.
Where an agreed piece of work may involve using personal or confidential information with an external AI provider, we'll consider the purpose, permissions, risks and safeguards involved and explain the relevant arrangements.
Technology evolves. Our responsibility for the information entrusted to us doesn't disappear because the tools become more sophisticated.
07 / LOOKING AFTER IT
Protection and retention
We use access controls and proportionate security measures to protect the information we hold.
We keep enquiries and correspondence for as long as they are needed for the conversation and reasonable follow-up. Customer records are kept while needed to provide services and manage our relationship. Accounting and other legally required records are kept for the applicable statutory period. Technical records are retained for the period needed to operate and protect our systems. We delete or anonymise information when it's no longer needed.
08 / YOUR CHOICES
Your information. Your rights.
Under UK data protection law, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it or request deletion. Depending on the circumstances, you may also be able to restrict or object to how it's used or ask for information to be transferred.
Contact us using the details below. We'll normally respond within one calendar month, subject to the rules and exceptions that apply to your request.
09 / QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS
If something doesn't seem right
If you have a question or concern about your information, get in touch. We'll look into it and respond.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
10 / IMPROVEMENT
As we grow, this page will too
Our technology will evolve. We'll discover better approaches, build new things and improve the way we work. Our privacy information needs to keep pace.
We'll review this notice when our services, systems or handling of personal information change. Where a significant change affects how your information is used, we'll make that clear and provide any notification required by law.

A QUESTION IS ALWAYS WELCOME
Privacy questions?
Talk to us.
You don't need legal language, a complicated form or a carefully prepared explanation. Tell us what you'd like to know. We'll help you take it from there.
ONE LAST THOUGHT
Making something work is one thing.
Making it worth depending on is another.
We spend a great deal of time thinking about what technology could make possible. We believe it's just as important to think about what technology should do, especially when someone has placed their trust in us.
Make it possible. Make it dependable. Make it better.
That applies to your information, too.
